Role Information

Position: Finance Team Leader
Organisation: Crosslife Property

A challenging role for someone who wants to use their bookkeeping and people management skills with CrossLife Property, the back-office arm of CrossLife a Baptist church and also financial support for Young Discoverers Child Care. The position supervises a team of 3 staff, and reports directly to the General Manager. Along with team management responsibility, the position also undertakes the financial management of CrossLife church.

The position plays a critical role in the CPL Management Team and is an important part of ensuring the connection between finance and the two other CrossLife Property teams – property management and operations management.

This role requires:

  • A minimum of Certificate Level IV Qualification in Bookkeeping
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role within finance and/or business administration
  • Current working knowledge and understanding of accounting practices, and various taxation and payroll practices, especially those related to the Not-for-Profit sector
  • Sound understanding and working knowledge of management information systems
  • Highly developed communication and consultation skills
