Children and Families Pastor – 3 days/wk. Salary – $27.5k + exempt benefits.
Have you ever wanted to be a part of building a reimagined, intergenerational and multicultural Church community?
Ingleburn Baptist is a Church seeking to make disciples that make disciples. Our motto is Living by faith, Known for love, Voice of hope, and we are currently seeking to discern the best way to follow Jesus as his Community in the wider community of Ingleburn and surrounds. Our pre-covid model of church needs re-examination, and we are looking for someone to work alongside our Lead Pastor in enabling Children and Families to live Kingdom-of God centred lives, rather than Kingdom-of-Church lives, that thrive in the places we live/work/play.
This role is three days per week, with Sunday & Tuesday availability essential. The incumbent should have experience and training (or be undergoing training) in Children and Family Ministry.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative person to connect with our Children and Families to enable the participation and nurture of their faith in the life of the church and its mission. This person will recognise that every child lives in the context of a family and therefore will seek to care for, resource, encourage and support parents as part of their children’s discipleship process.
