Position: Connect Groups and Teaching Pastor (Part-Time)

North-East Baptist Church is located 20 minutes from the center of Brisbane in Nundah. NEB is an active, local, relevant and contemporary witness to Jesus Christ in the north-eastern suburbs of Brisbane. NEB is seeking to appoint a Worship Pastor who have the appropriate heart, giftings and passion to build on the strengths of our existing ministries.
The Connect Groups and Teaching Pastoral role involves overseeing, participating in and facilitating all aspects of connect group and teaching ministry with the goal of providing an engaging and encouraging culture to encounter of God in small group settings.
The right candidate will have a real and living faith in Jesus and exhibit a servant heart that aims to glorify and serve Christ. They will be expected to affirm the Vision, Mission, and Values of NEB and be a member or willing to become a member of North-East Baptist Church. They would be responsible for providing pastoral leadership and care for those involved in these ministries and leaders/helpers. They would be expected to have significant experience in overseeing, coordinating and implementing small groups and recruiting new leaders, leadership development and participant retention to sustain growth and ensure effective ministry.
Each role is for 2 days (15.2 hrs) a week with an initial call period of three (3) years. We would envision that the successful applicant would start in January 2024 or by negotiation.
