The Church:
North Pine Baptist Church is located in Murrumba Downs, 30min north of Brisbane. We have been worshipping God and proclaiming the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, in the community of Kallangur and Murrumba Downs, for over Fifty years.
The Role:
We are seeking a Senior Pastor to join and lead our church community. The Senior Pastor will share with the Eldership, in overseeing and providing and Spiritual leadership for the members of North Pine Baptist Church through:
➢ Teaching and preaching the Bible.
➢ Providing godly counsel and encouragement through pastoral care.
➢ Setting an example in prayer and mission.
➢ Equipping church members for service.
The Person:
The successful person will be a man who:
➢ Is a committed follower of Jesus.
➢ Has a passion for the word of God and people.
➢ Has a heart to see God glorified, the church mature, and the lost saved.
➢ Has a desire to serve the body of Christ.
➢ Meets the biblical qualifications for elders (see 1 Tim 3:1-7, Tit 1:7-9 and 1 Pet 5:1-3).
➢ Has demonstrated giftings in the areas of leadership, preaching and teaching.
➢ Has experience in Pastoral Care, equipping, and leading teams ministry.
➢ Is accredited with Queensland Baptists.
