In this defining moment, Whitsunday Baptist Church is looking for a strong leader to shepherd its growing congregation into the next stage of our journey with God. As such, we are seeking a Senior Pastor to join our church community and provide spiritual leadership for the members of Whitsunday Baptist Church and the community at large. Key elements of the position are as follows:
- Teaching and preaching the Bible.
- Equipping church members through an organized discipleship program.
- Providing godly counsel and encouragement through pastoral care.
- Setting a personal example of a commitment to prayer and missions impacting the community.
Overall, the successful person will have a servant’s heart, who has a passion for the Word of God and the Body of Christ and who is gifted to fulfill the role of Senior Pastor. Central to all this, is to see Jesus glorified throughout the growth and maturity of the church and to impact our local community through our programs and example.
Accreditation or working toward accreditation with Queensland Baptists is a requirement of the position.
