More than 360,000 aged care staff support 1.3 million older Australians receiving home care or residential care services.

On Aged Care Employee Day on August 7, Carinity recognises the employees who care for Queensland seniors living in our 12 residential aged care communities and those supported through in-home care services.

School chaplain impacting on young peoples’ lives

“We need our communities to connect with Jesus and grow in love. Chaplains provide a greater chance for this to occur.”

Aaron Schick’s work as a school chaplain with Carinity Education sees him provide pastoral care and guidance to children who have experienced difficulties succeeding in mainstream schools.

Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy

Inside Out Prison Chaplaincy provides faith based pastoral care, bringing the light to prisoners in a dark place. Without the intervention of prison chaplains, the story of former prisoners such as Sammy may have ended quite differently.

Carinity Orana Youth Shelter

The Carinity Orana Youth Shelter at Bald Hills is celebrating 40 years of providing crisis accommodation for young people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Current and former Carinity Orana clients and youth workers gathered for a celebratory event at the Queensland Baptists Centre on April 20.
